Today, I will be talking more about dropping importance and advantage from my personal experience. So J and I have been doing the Everything Is Awesome series as part of our 90-day challenge recently, but we want to do more personal examples from our life. I learned about dropping importance and advantage yesterday.

Busy Weekend

We had a really busy weekend. We attended the Alchemy of Abundance conference virtually with Dan Mangena. It was mother's day on Sunday, so we were with my family on Saturday and J's family on Sunday. And Friday, we had a birthday party, and we were making a podcast every day and publishing every day. So a lot is going on besides normal life and having two kids. So that was a pretty busy weekend. On Monday yesterday, I was just done. I woke up in the middle of the night, like 1:00 AM, and I was sick to my stomach, which happened a couple of times. And then the next day, I was just wiped. I was just done.

The Concept of Advantage 

I couldn't do anything, and a lot of times, when J gets sick, he will tank emotionally. His frequency will drop, and he'll get mad about it. He'll be like, I don't deserve to be sick. I shouldn't be sick. I should be able to pull myself out of this, blah, blah, blah. So, I've learned from watching from an outside perspective that the best thing you can do in that situation is to be at peace emotionally and spiritually, not put so much pressure that you have to get better, and not put so much guilt or shame on yourself for any reason. Then not feel negative about it in any way. Just feel at peace and feel like everything is an advantage.

When we talk about the concept of advantage, the Reality Transurfing principle, we mean that you're saying that you have an edge because the situation is in your life. So there is an advantage that you wouldn't have had if that hadn't happened, and instantly, I knew I wanted a day off with this sickness.

My Permission Slip

I would keep going if I had energy, and I knew I was like trying to psych myself into. I will take a break if I feel better. I really will. But I think, like my subconscious mind was saying, you need a break. It was a busy weekend, and you need a break. So don't do anything today, and I'm going to make sure you don't cause if you get up and start moving around, you'll feel sick again. So I was resting, lying down, sitting on the couch, and taking a couple of walks. It was a beautiful day. But most of the time, I was relaxing, which was my permission slip. My body is now permitted to rest because I'm sick. Crazy how even being sick can be a permission slip to your subconscious mind.

Holy Fire

It wasn't my choice. Ideally, I'd like to choose my permission slips, but in this case, that's where I am. So I practiced the Holy Fire idea of knowing everything is okay, and if I'm still physically at like a five instead of a 10, that's okay too. Everything is okay. I'm safe. Everything is perfect. Everything is awesome. This is to my advantage. I'm able to rest, and could I be able to rest without feeling gross? Yes, but this is where I am right now, and that's okay. I dropped importance. That's another Transurfing principle. You drop importance on it. Big deal, you're sick. Move on. What's important in your life? Let's focus on those things and not so much on being sick or trying not to be sick or working yourself out of sickness. 

So at the end of the day, I had a feeling it wouldn't last very long, but at the end of the day, I started feeling a little bit worse again. I was like, I felt like this was going to be a 24-hour thing, be done, tomorrow I can get back to normal. And I was just like, J, I'm like nervous that I'm not going to be able to sleep again tonight. He's like, let's do some EFT tapping. So he sent me up with a nice little tapping station after the kids went to bed, did like a four-minute tapping session with Brad Yates, just a YouTube video, and I slept great.

I slept better than I've slept in several weeks, and I just was fine. So, first of all, claim an advantage. Second of all, drop importance. Third, do whatever clearing techniques you need to give yourself the permission slip to feel better. So how can you guys apply that to your life today?
